Being a nocturnal insect, bedbugs prefer to suck blood during the night, and ultimately sleeping persons become their prey. They can sense motion and run away quickly if the person makes any movement during snooze. Bedbug bites do not cause an abrupt itching effect; rather a mild or raised bloat appears after a while.

Even if these bedbug bites are not toxic, yet you can have skin infection by scratching on the affected area. So instead of rubbing the skin harshly, apply an antiseptic formula to avoid itching and infection. Unlike other domestic insects like mosquitoes and cockroaches, bedbugs are hard to eradicate because of their high rate of reproduction and strong resistance to ordinary pesticides. Some pest control firms have formulated sprays specifically for these bugs and are effective for the long-term elimination of these parasites.
